Buyer was the guy who actually inspected the car in person and for some reason he praised it instead of negging to keep the price down.

Dammit!! Thought for sure with 3 fighters in the ring I’d see 47 hit. One. Damn. Bet from getting my name on the list of honor. Congrats linderpat.

I thought you were going to win too. I am really surprised with 3 bidders it stopped where it did. Anyway, I'll look for the next one.

That's it, I am not bidding early again! I went in on the high end early, which turned out to be the lower middle end.

Nice job Linderpat!

Yeah, I don't get it, from the pics this car looked rough under a shiny exterior.

Congrats Linderpat!
I thought I was bidding high already and can't believe it sold for $46.500 + fee. I think it was the low mileage that the winner was after. For this kind of money I think I would still prefer a 997.2 for the reliability and value reasons.

OK, we're going to open up the spread a bit by having a large $ car. The past few have been tight, because the car values were low (relatively speaking). I'm putting up this excellent 997 GT3 RS 4.0, which should get the heart pumping. I'll post my guess later.

These GT3's seems to be all showcase garage queens, I never see them with over 40k miles.Very much like Ferrari and Lambo which is a shame. A collector buys one, park it in his garage and looks at it more than he drives it, just to be sold to another collector who will do the same. I would only buy a car like this if I was filthy rich and drive the pants out of it to really enjoy what it was intended and not care about future values. I'll take a stab at 400,500.
