Default One other criterion

How easy are they to keep clean? No little nooks and crannies. The ability to get through to the inside cylinder.

I put Optimum Gloss Coat on them that (I think) helps. The outer rims tend to collect dust, but are easy to clean. There is a small space at the top of each spoke (between spoke and rim) that is not easy to clean, but on the other hand dirt isn't really noticeable there.

There are some good cast wheels as well as folks mentioned.

If it's mainly for looks then I would just google and pick a few from among the hundreds of wheels you see.
I would still filter it down by manufacturer and ensure that they are of good quality.

Here in the forums we have some known wheel retailers (to name just a couple):
Wheel Enhancement => http://www.wheelenhancement.com/prod...?filter=15:142
Wheel Dynamics => https://wheeldynamics.com/all-porsche-wheels.html

My personal favourite is the Fuchs look wheels that came with the original 2010 997 Sport Classic and Speedster.
You could cough up $6K for the originals or buy a replica from a reputed seller for a fraction of that cost

Ooh, that looks amazing. Probably how my future 997 will look!

best is so relative, these days, any manufacturer can build you anything you want - your own design

I love BBS's so I got a set of E88's because they just look awesome, you don't need to spend that kind of money on a good looking wheel though

especially since a lot of factory wheels are nice looking as well

I picked up my car last year and the only thing I don't like is the wheels. Blows my mind that they are so pricey. I'm probably going to sell and look for CH-R's or something similar.

mine? they are BBS E88's in 18

this is from the wheel spec, this is a more aggressive set then what the standard sizes are - 997 WB alt. E88 - 1.0 / 8.0 (+50.0) E88 - 3.5 / 8.5 (+42.0)

so my fronts are 18x9 et50 with 245/40/18 tires

my rears are 18x12 et42 with 305/35/18 tire

the fronts are pretty much flush

the rears poke out a tiny bit

in that pic car is on H&R springs and I really don't know how old they or my shocks are

on Monday my car is going to a shop to have a set of Ohlins R&T's installed and get a proper alignment, so eventually I will have much better pics once its "where I want"

I originally was looking for the lobster forks wheels, but the Targa 4 I bought had these charcoal powdercoated sport design wheels that look great to me.
