Default Powder coated OEM turbo wheels

Decided to reinstall the OEM turbo style wheels on my C4S...but changed a few things up!
* powder coated the OEM turbo wheels (gloss black)
* added OEM center caps (gloss black)
* added new Michelin PS4S tires
* replaced TPMS
* added black OEM valve stems
* added black front/rear H&R spacers
* added black titanium lug bolts
* repainted the brake rotor hats (gloss black)
* touchless hunter mounted and road forced balanced

Seems to pull it all together and satisfy my borderline OCD

Love the look. Very nice! I was thinking of doing that to my OEM Sport Designs. I was at the dealer and saw gloss black Sport Designs on a Panamera.

I have the same wheels on my car. I thought they looked a little odd on a blue car, but I really like them now.

About what is the cost of powder coating? Anybody else that has done this, how durable has this been to chipping? Thanks. Looks great BTW.

Thanks, guys.

I previously had a set of black painted aftermarket "summer" wheels on the car that were heavier and lower quality, in comparison to my OEM wheels that have been boxed-up and just sitting in my garage. So after seeing the same OEM wheels powder coated on another 997 one morning, I immediately started researching!

There's a lot of info out on the Web from OEM wheel manufacturers and various coating shops about how to safely powder coat wheels...and from what I've read, powder coated wheels seem to hold up very well.

I went with a company in the Los Angles area where I now live (many to chose from and avoided shipping cost) who has specialized in powder coating wheels for over 10 years (and paid $200 per wheel).

And since the OEM turbo wheels have so much room between spokes (which exposes the brake rotors), painting the rotor hats and spacers seems to pull it all together.
