Default Aux Cable 08 911

I've got an auxiliary cable that unfortunately has the old iPhone 3 connection. I've been using an adapter to plug in my iPhone 6 but with the old plug plus the adapter the connection is quite large and when I bought a phone case to mount on my vents it won't fit in there. Does anyone know of a place where they sell the auxiliary plugs with an iPhone 6 or later adapter? I talked to Porsche and they have no official cables other than the one that i have for the iPhone 3.

Thanks.

Any reason you wouldn't flip to something like the below? The sound system in the 997.2 is poor to say the least, so bluetooth shouldn't be a concern. It turns on when you start the engine and my phone connects automatically every time:

I'm not sure where that is supposed to plug into my car. My auxiliary outlet is one of those weird round 7 pin jobs and as far as a USB plug goes there isn't one in my car.
Thanks.

If just looking to power your phone you can try a bluetooth connection to the iPod adaptor. This adaptor (

) works fine in my 997.2.

Alternatively there are two different 30 pin to lightning connections, as pictured below:

Could use one of these with a lightning extension to make your phone hardwired.

Hi, I think the extended one would work sufficiently. Thanks.

“This adaptor...works fine in my 997.2.”
‘11 997.2 - My iPhone 6s worked perfectly for about 18 months using that type adapter, charged phone, played music, etc. Then iOS updates started causing issues where it would charge/play, but PCM would go crazy at times. Then update caused it to lose ability to play, but charge. Next update eliminated even charging the phone. Gave up and loaded usb with music. Plug phone into footwell adapter to charge.
Interesting yours still works correctly.
