It's pretty clear you've never driven a Model 3. Stop fighting the future and go see for yourself.

Toyota seems to be really hedging their bet on electric cars.......
At about 2:30 , the head of Toyota NA estimates that between 2025 and 2030 about 4-6% of sales will be full electric. Until then it seems gasoline engines will dominate whether or not they have an electric hybrid system on board.

i wonder how the car junkyard of the future looks like with all these Tesla's and other electric cars and their big *** batteries. Are the tree huggers unwittingly building a future Chernobyl for all of us ?

Burning Brakes
In theory, most of the components are recoverable and recyclable. But, in actual practice, most things that are recyclable end up in landfills. Maybe some day...

Wife has a Model S. It is so boring. I'd might as well be driving a golf cart with an ipad pro duct taped to the dash. And you can only punch it off the line a few times before you realize that's also boring.

Is that a fact ?

What really would happen is that the power companies will start seeing a change in demand that will ramp and they will project and then adapt. No issue in the real world as almost nothing just "happens". without warning and ramp up.

Not a big fan of Tesla. The model 3 quality issues in the final push for 2018 should not have happened. Within the next few years competition for electric cars will heat up and more choices for better quality cars. The charging grid will be substantially better. A $60-70K Model 3 is not the solution for a local run errands car.
