Hello, the peeling issue was due to a softy coat Porsche used to use from 2004 to 2007. On 2007 they changed coating and the issue was over (that’s why 2008 cars and most 997 Turbos do not suffer from this).
best regards

After trying multiple versions of these, I've gone to the other guy's on both my cars and will stick with those for the quality and their customer service.

Sorry, but you burned a bunch of us here on the version 1 and version 2 switches, releasing next versions.that were incrementally a little better, even before we received the previously ordered versions, then not letting us return them to you for a refund, and then contesting the PayPal claims we entered, essentially sticking us with unusable, expensive junk we weren't willing to install in our cars. Personally I don't care how good the Revolution v4 or whatever number you're up to now are... .didn't even bother to watch the video... . as I won't do business with a company like yours a second time when there's a reputable company like MA Carbon producing nice, high quality pieces without the BS, and I'll continue to suggest others here don't buy from you either.
Guess you'll have to start yet another new thread, since this one, like the others, is now not going to be a very effective sales channel. Don't worry, we'll post in the next one too.

Aha! I always wondered about this whenever I've seen peeling ones. I've got an '05 and it has non-soft-touch buttons which have not degraded. I bought the car in '09 so apparently the original owner must have had them replaced under warranty post-2007. Cleared up a long-standing mystery for me.
