iPhone music

I have 997.2. Originally could plug iPhone 6 in in center console and play music. Apple software updates killed the ability. One update drove PCM crazy. Latest one eliminated playing music. Can still Bluetooth for calls. No native ability to play music over Bluetooth regardless. Use passenger footwell to charge phone. Put music on usb and plug in console for music. Or get third party PCM replacement. That's life. Better to push PSE and sport, put top down, run revs up, and listen to best music there is.

I have the iPhone adapter with the old connector. Then to that I have a bovee 1000. That does a2dp streaming and o can control my phone in my pocket with the stereo. Works about 90% of the time the way it is supposed to.

If your car has the optional Universal Audio Interface you can plug in a Bluetooth device that will play streamed music to Aux selection of the car radio. I bought this Nulaxy gizmo from Amazon for less than $30.
Unboxed. Device has internal battery.
Device plugs into AUX port in console. Pairs via Bluetooth to phone.
Select AUX on radio and play what have you.

Agree with the Bovee / WMA1000. It plugs into the 30 pin of the USB input and streams all information to the PCM. Worked great in my BMW, just put it in my 997.2 this week but so far so good.

Been using the Bovee 1000 since February and it works great. Usually takes a minute after starting the car to synchronize properly.
