I tried this with my Durametric Pro on my 2009.... Didn't work. Same issue as dealer, its works once then flips back.

My door locks do nothing on my 997.1 2005 C2 base when I am in the car nor does the central lock on the dash work neither (assuming its not a fuse) since new as far as i can tell, however, only became aware of it in the last few years. Is it possible that the dealer needs to set the computer (or indy with the durametric) to something for auto lock to work? My assumption is that my central lock switch is bad, however, unsure if it would /would not have any effect on autolock? That is, if resetting the computer is possible to turn on autolock with possibly the bonus of my central locking switch then working it would be a home run . I need at least one of them to work so that i can lock the doors when in the car; hesitant to have to rip apart the dash to replace the switch if not necessary . That is, the auto lock feature could be turned on but the switch could still be bad , or vice versa and i could live with that for now. I have not recently scrolled thru my PCM, but i believe I did one time and did not see anything that would have worked, I will try again as well.

Porsche of Stevens Creek in Santa Clara, CA. It was 5 years ago and I haven't been visiting the dealer much since. Good luck!
