Agree. My only complaint about the GTS in stock configuration. Factory wheel offset doesn't match the rest of the car. Way too conservative.

The RS Spyder centerlocks are not heavy, but they aren't super light either.. they are lighter than the GT3 centerlocks some people switch to, oddly enough. Going with Superforgiata I saved about 5lbs a corner off the RS Spyder wheels. I think the OZ Ultralegerra save about 3lbs each over RS Spyder. Forgeline GA1R centerlock is a good option too. There are other GTS guys on here that have swapped out their wheels as well, hopefully they will chime in.
To the OP, I have the Forgeline GA1R's that Fined mentioned. They're not cheap but super light and strong and you can specify color and offset to make it just right since spacers aren't an option. My fronts are 9" with 50 offset which brings it flush or maybe a tad past flush but it looks good. Rears are 12" with 46 offset. Just about dead flush with the fender but if I ordered a new set I would probably leave the 50 front offset alone but bring the rears out another 2-3 mm.

It is. Have been working a lot and also broke my right leg last year in a freak accident so not sure at this point. Before all this my average round was typically low 80's. My best round ever was 76 but I'm nowhere close to that now. Just happy to be able to play again. Thx for the compliments on the car btw.

Forgeline called that color Midnight Silver. I don't think they offer it anymore but I'd say it's pretty close to a variation on Gun Metal as you suggest. The individual shots of the front and the rear are not good representations. Too light and too much silver. Not sure why they came out that way. The color of the wheels on the full shot of the car is much closer to the what they really look like.

sandwedge,
Oh man, sorry to hear about the broken leg. I broke both legs in a motorcycle accident many years ago. I made about an 90% recovery, but my ballerina career is shot
I feel your pain and I hope you make a full recovery and can get the golf game back in the low 80's.

now back to gts wheel options!

Both legs? Jeez. How long before you were allowed to transfer from the wheelchair to some load bearing with a walker? Either way, glad to hear you recovered 90% even if you're not dancing as you used to

Finally finished paint correction, new powder coated wheels, and removed front license plate.
