I replaced the door lock. I checked the rod where the key turns the lock and its good. When I manually turn the key to the right it seems to lock and unlock and repeats several times but doesn't lock th door. When I turn the slot in the lock with a screw driver to the right I hear the lock make noise when I use the remote but it doesn't lock the door.

After a while It will lock the door and the fuel door but the passenger door doesn't do anything. When I push the door lock switch in the car it will activate the driver door and the fuel door but nothing happens with the passenger door. Could this problem be due to a problem with the passenger door? Also have disconnected the battery, drained the battery and recharged several times. With the romote sometimes it will lock but unlock. Then other times lock. Could the position of the lock slot have anything to contribute? Please advise.
