Pascha FTW! I'd like to do something like that with mine. Here's my 928 interior:

I know door card concept can be done. Few examples like this out there...

So we are looking at approximate costs:
-door cards 1k
-seats 3k
-classic gauges 1k
-woody shifter 200
-rs door pull 600
-Getty duck tail 1500
-off brand Fuchs 1k
-momo wheel 1k

Could be interesting overhaul, but worth $10k?

You forgot one more cost:

-Resale value: $0.

I would highly advise against doing the seats (non-inserts) and door cards unless you plan on keeping the car forever.

Just as an aside.....are you handy? I've been told that taking the dash apart and replacing the gauge faces is not one of the easier DIY projects.

Good to know. Haven’t dug into the diy yet. Still trying to gather the payback model of $10k. We have 1 opinion so far. Haven’t seen anyone with this kind of interior...I gotta believe there is some premium to apply.

would seem to be reasonable cost if there was ability to diy. Can not believe no ones done it. And...doesn’t seem like much interest in interior upgrades...again, very surprising given how much exterior customization options there are...!

Not the best pictures, but here is my interior. All sent to and rewrapped by Ledermanz (no affiliation).

What about gold dipping plastic around gauges? Is this doable? Gold dipping the numbers on the tach...etc?

I speculate Singer does something other than re-make their gauge rings....
