Many thanks for the feedback and for sharing the pics jfort.
The spoiler looks great on your car
The lines of the 991 spoiler also blend well with the vents on the 997.1 bumper.

For some reason my text disappeared from my post when I added the photos.....
Spoiler installed. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow. I needed a helper to hold the spoiler whilst marking the fixing locations - trying to use tape to hold the spoiler in place was too much of a pain. All in all a fantastic kit and upgrade using OE Porsche spoiler!
Many thanks EMC2!

Just a quick update.
As promised, I've been working on an option for lowered 997.1 vehicles.
I had mentioned earlier in the thread, that the 997.1 bumper has a pretty straight lower edge (unlike the 997.2 which is recessed in the center). As a result the 991 spoiler, when installed on the 997.1 in the traditional manner (spoiler mounted to the underside of the bumper) will provide less ground clearance than on the 997.2.
This is not really a problem for 997.1's with stock suspension (just requires care on steep inclines as with most sports cars with spoilers), however lowered PASM equipped vehicles would be more challenging.
I had started to look at non-OEM solutions and got very close to completing one of them, when I realized that there was a way of dealing with the issue and gaining some valuable ground clearance while still using the OEM 991 spoiler.
I will post more details shortly, but here are a few pics in the interim.
The result is 10mm extra clearance in the center, and approximately 20mm at the edges.
The same mounting clip principles are used as for the standard kit,

Me too blairb. The first 997.1 Kit B's have shipped so we should see some pics as soon as the members get their spoilers,
Interestingly the OEM spoiler price is at the best level ever - down to $152 (excl shipping) or around $175 shipped, I've found that most good Porsche dealers will match these prices if you have a PCA membership or know the parts guys well.
