Tpms issue
spent a little time with my Indy yesterday. My 2007 c2s has wheels that have tpms sensors and when he connected the car to his machine, he was able to see that the batteries were good on all four sensors, but they are not connecting to the car. When I try to connect to the tpms from the steering wheel controls, there is not even a tpms option.
Anybody ever seen this?

I had a similar issue but not exactly. I was initially told my 2006 C2S had TPMS capability but the TPMS stems were not installed. I bought them and had my indy install them. Then next day he called me and he said your car is not equipped for TPMS, no wire harness, nothing ...first he had seen. I did some research and it seems <=2006 model years TPMS was an option. It came standard starting in 2007. Since yours is a 2007, it should be equipped. You could double check for the relay sensors that are in the wheel well and see if they are there. There are some threads discussing this. A recent thread about someone retrofitting TPMS in a non TPMS car which might help you diagnose it.
Very true. TPMS was an option for 06 but mandatory by DOT for MY07. Sometimes the PCM loses its mind and forgets what options are within the car. Porsche should be able to confirm that all the right codes are operating for your VIN.
You may have to go into the modules and reenable TPMS. A PO may have not wanted to deal with it and coded it off or he tracked frequently and his track wheels didn't have sensors so he coded it off, or as edgy says it just lost its mind and needs a reboot.
The system will still load the module if its still wired in. It's very possible that the previous owner unhooked the tpms module and told the computer that the module didn't exist. I did so myself on my 08. You'll want to look for the tpms module in your frunk and make sure it is still connected. It requires removing the carpeting from your frunk and looking for the module on the driver side. There is a tutorial on this site for disabling the tpms that should help. You'll need someone with a durametric or official porsche programming software to re-enable.
