Default Electrical connector pins

I am looking at adding some accessories that require wire splicing and I was thinking about taking out the respective pin in the connectors and crimping the original wire and new wire.

does anyone know a source of harness pins used by Porsche?

The pin crimps are rated for a certain gauge of wire. Putting two or more wires in one crimp is creating a weak spot. You are better off tapping the wire itself, either cutting and soldering, or using t-tap type crimps.

If you insist on pulling pins, a lot of the connectors are Tyco brand with Porsche or Audi specific part numbers. Best bet here is to google all the numbers on the connector housing itself and you might get lucky. That's the route I went when retrofitting TPMS into my car.

I also think there is a "wire splice kit" listed somewhere in the PET parts manuals. But last time I priced it, it was way too expensive to splice in just a handful of wires.

Whenever I splice I always use solder and heat-shrink tubing. I also rather not disturb existing connectors. If they break they are more hassle and expense to replace than it's worth.
