Default 997.2 C4 GTS HRE 595RS Wheels Mounted

Hi everyone I finally got around to getting my HRE 595RS wheels mounted up to my Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires.

Specs are

HRE 595RS Gloss Black Barrel's and Face with Polished Chrome Hardware

20 X 9 ET 53

20 X 12 ET 48

Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 Tires

245/30-20
325/25-20

Car is lowered on H&R sport springs with the factory PASM suspension

To my surprise I think the comfort of the ride is on par if not slightly better than my HRE R101 19' with Michelin PS4 in the same 245/325 tires size. Haven't had chance to test out grip as its been cold here and I can't get enough heat in the tire to make that call.

Enjoy the photos!

No clue why they are showing up twice for each photo? But enjoy them two times

Jesus that car is immaculate.

Quick question how did you get the black CL's? I have a C4GTS and my dealership told me that there wasn't a black CL option. Are those the ones from the 991?

Nice wheels and nice plate. I have one on my Jeep and wish I could find another for my black 997.

Love it. I think I want to get some wider tires for my rears. I have BBS RE wheels in 19 inch and I got 245 for the fronts. Maybe 315 19's for the rear?? Anyway, I love C4GTS cars, biased as I have one too. Also really like your rear wiper lol, kind of wish mine came with one. The drop looks great also, much better than the eibachs i have.

Thanks for that. Will have to order a set for sure. They look much better than the standard silver on black wheels.

To the OP.....love your car and what you did to it. To pilfer, amazing what that extra .25" drop between Eibach's and H&R's does for the stance isn't it? As for wider rear tires, do your due diligence on all the numbers before buying. My GTS had Michelin 325/19's when I bought it and they looked terrible. Bulky and too tall. Can't remember the exact specs now but they were quiet a bit wider in diameter than the standard 305's so they raised the rear of the car to where it was actually visible. Haven't looked lately so there may be new configurations available but that was not a good look. Changed back to 305's instantly since at that time the only 325's or 315's available had the same larger diameter.

Thank you! I agree that the 325 rear tire can be a little on the thicker side as far as sidewall height is concerned. Being that my car is all wheel drive I have to keep the rolling diameter ratios very close to stock to keep the transfer case happy. Here is shot of the 19" HRE R101 rear tire to show the side wall height.

Let me know if you sell the R101s, I have a 2012 GTS w CLs and have been looking for a set.

FWIW, not sure where you are located but there is a set of FI-Rs on the marketplace for local pickup: https://rennlist.com/forums/parts-ma...e-2-tires.html

I like the look of the 325 in the rear, looks meaty and purposeful. Been running that since I got my first set of tires on the GTS.
