Bringing my car to the dealer on Monday to have the oil changed and, more importantly to have a thorough check on anything and everything as my 7 year/ 70,000 mile Fidelity Platinum Warranty ends in 1 week. Time flies when you are having fun. The car has 33,000 miles and (knock on wood) has been trouble-free.

I know the lead tech at the dealership for over 30 years and he will look closely at all the problematic areas.

What would be on your list to have checked? Appreciate in advance your thoughts.

I would have the water pump and the coolant tank checked as well. You may also want to have the car checked for codes.

I am in a similar situation as yourself as my Fidelity Platinum 7/70 ends in April 2019 and I am planning to have it checked out before that time. I have 30K on my car.

So far, I have had the water pump replaced about two years ago at 25K miles and Fidelity covered it. My driver's lumbar support inflates on it's own from time to time. Other than that, the car has been perfect.
