Porsche North America would be my guess. I didn’t ask when he told me all this info, but I can ask when I go back this weekend.. Hopefully it’s all accurate and after this weekend can be confirmed. Us 997.2 owners without universal audio interface option deserve clear cut info on how to retrofit!

All the above information is confirmed. The universal audio interface is up and running. These base level (not Bose) speakers actually sound somewhat clean now that I have direct audio connection.

PS techs name was Kevin not Mike, whoops.

Cool - did you buy the kit from a different dealer? It would be good to know if the contents of the kit are just the 4 parts identified at the top of this thread and how much the dealer charged for sending away for the code and coding the head unit??
