Default Water Pump - Composite vs Brass vs other...

I'm replacing parts on my replacement 997 motor that will go into my 996 C4...

So, water pumps...

$500+ down to $165.

So, What are the advantages / disadvantages of composite vs brass vs "metal"?

Always use a pump with the plastic impeller. The metal will machine your block once it starts to go bad and wobble. There's lots of info on this issue here, do a search and you'll get lots of good advice.
