Default 997.2 S 4 to 6 piston brake upgrade

Been wanting to upgrade my front c2s calipers but seem to find incomplete/ conflicting info when I run a search on the forums.

Do I need 997.1 gt3 front calipers? Read that the bolt spacing is 142mm on all 997.2 c2s and 142mm on the 997.1 gt3.

What about the rear? It’s a 130mm bolt spacing so just need the right spacer to use 350mm turbo brakes?
Anyone sell the required spacers or adapters alone? Would appreciate some input from someone with a 997.2 s who has done the upgrade or know what exactly is required,

This a good summary for converting to a 997.1 GT3 front setup - https://rennlist.com/forums/997-foru...l#post13224670

That’s a good thread, had read it earlier somehow forgot.
A 997.2 c2s needs 997.1 turbo or gt3 997.1 caliper red calipers and 997 turbo steel rotors.

I did some part number searches and found out the 997.1 and 997.2 turbo rotors and calipers (steel) have the same part numbers.

997.1 turbo calipers
997 351 431 10
997 351 432 10

997.1 turbo rotors
997 351 405 01
997 351 406 01

996.2 and 997.1 gt3 caliper
996 351 432 90
996 351 431 90

Any experience on the following setup:

997.2 C2S with OEM calipers and rotors 330mm
upgrade to
full 997.1 Turbo brake kit, front (6pot) and rear (bigger caliper cylinders) turbo calipers and 350mm rotors

I’m finding only info on 6pot front upgrade, what about going 997.1 turbo kit full around on 997.2 C2S with even change of brake master cylinder to 997 355 910 30 in order to keep the brake bias

I’m planning to go that way...actually already purchased 997.1 turbo calipers front and rear with Padig yellow rs29 front/rear.
Only master cylinder remains to buy...

Thanks! Brake line I have to study...
Longer caliper bolts too? Turbo has longer caliper bolts, right?

Are you running exactly this 997.1T front/rear setup? If yes, are you happy?
Considering 997GTS you had already by default 997 355 910 30 MC?

Btw great GTS

Just did the swap on my 09 C2S. I used Turbo front calipers, 350mm rotors, new longer caliper bolts in the front and 350mm rotors with spacers and stock calipers in the rear to keep the bias the same. Super easy bolt on swap.

Looking good!

I want to go 997.1TT full solution including MC on C2S 2010.
Why somebody think (in other threads/forums) bias would be different compare to 997.1TT considering copy/paste solution:
997.1TT front rotors + 6pot turbo calipers
997.1TT rear rotors + 4pot turbo calipers
master cylindar from turbo

How and why brake bias, some guys are saying, is wrong?? Based on what?

Btw here is the car, currently with oem 330mm set and new purchased 997.1TT set

Where do you guys get the 997.1tt front calipers ? I've been looking for a used set but never found a decent pair except for some expensive used ones in terrible condition on ebay. Am I better off just buying them new ?

Curious as to why? Cost vs benefit?

In Europe is not hard to find, especially via Kleinanzeigen German app.

bias is off because TT is AWD with front differential. More weight in the front. You want the GT3 MC.

Valid comment but with one note

MC 99735591030 is for: 997.1TT, 997.1GT3 and 997.1C4S

Today I did bed in of Padig RS29 and new 350mm rotors. So I’m running completely 997.1 turbo set, front and rear. MC is 997.2 C2S OEM.
After bed in I did more than 200km of serious fast driving, for now everything is perfect. Will see behavior at the track...
