Looking for Suggestions for a Good Battery Charger
I’m looking for good suggestion for a decently-priced battery charger for charging the battery on my Pier Pleasure boat hoist that I can use on our cars as well our boats and snowmobiles. Towards the end of the boating season, my battery (a heavy duty Intersate battery) peters out and I don’t want to get caught with a fully dead battery. For now, I just use my battery jump box to drive the lift, but I’d like to pull it and charge it while we’re back home this week so it’s fully charged for when we’re back at the lake again for Labor Day weekend.
I’m not looking for a battery tender/trickle charger or a jump box, but a decently-priced charger . TIA for any suggestions

I got the CTEK 7002 Multi US with the optional cig lighter plug. The 7002 has a "supply" setting which will provide enough power to retain settings if you disconnect the battery to work on the car, so you don't need to worry about clearing codes or resetting the windows or sunroof.

Been using Battery Tender's for years now. Very pleased.
Had one that failed and their customer service was great.
All you need.
We have learned to disconnect the boat and jet ski batteries off season. The boat of course has a switch. Nothing worse than backing the jet ski into the water and it wont start.

All the answers so far relate to "Battery Tenders" but you asked for a Battery Charger. So was that a misnomer on your part or are you indeed looking for a charger?
Battery Tenders peak out at about 1.5 Amps and are meant to "keep" batteries charged when not in use for extended periods. Whereas home use chargers have several and selectable outputs, typically 1.5, 10, 40 and sometimes 75 Amps which allow you to start a car with an almost dead battery. So a charger can act as battery tender but not vice-versa.
