Can’t wait until this upcoming Sunday. This will be my 4th year going and my 1st year going in the Porscheplatz. Unfortunately I’ve never been the whole weekend however I am super excited for the race. See y’all there. My 1st year there when they lined up all the Pcars for the victory lap my friend said let’s go line up with the other cars. We ran to my car & couldn’t find out where they lined up to get on the track so my friend led me up to the starting line. One on the VIR workers were confused at what I was trying to do. I told him that we were just wanting to get in line with the other cars. Any way he put us on the track and I gave my 997.1S all I could down the straight then around the big turn then around all of those S curves. Then coming down the straight where the bridge is I realized that it where all the Pcars were getting onto the track. After all the Pcars got on the track I was escorted off. Another VIR worker explained that I had pay and have a arm band. What an experience but looks like this year the victory lap is on Sat 18. I emailed the PCA President and apologized for my actions. I’m sure I will get my chance someday to do it correctly.
