Life of the car. Might go through 1 set of pads. Mine still look brand new at 57,000 miles and the pads are still plenty thick. No dust either. I'm upgrading my Cayenne to them too.

He hit the nail, on the head^^^ Ceramics typically only wear at their oxidation point at high temperatures, you can have ceramics last 100k street miles maybe more maybe less. Track use is a completely different story.

This alone is the reason I'd NEVER buy a car with PCCB option... the replacement cost is simply unacceptable! Good luck with the sale!
