26 tries is pretty good actually. I recall someone else doing the same thing and ended up with about three times that number. That's determination (and time to spare). What some may not know is that if you stop it at any number without resetting it'll light up along with the main gauges when you turn the headlights on. Reset it to zero and it'll stay dark even with lights on and the main cluster lit up.
