I know driving in rain and heat is bad for these cars - What about daylight?
I am concerned about driving in daylight. I leave for SF tomorrow to purchase and drive home my new to me 07 997 C4S and wondering if I should limit my driving to evening hours after the sun goes down??
Any help or insight appreciated.
**Also, I found a great APP which gives very accurate weather information on rain and heat predictions for all concerned 997 owners

ONLY if you liberally apply SPF 70 sunscreen to the entire car. Don't forget to do the tires. Reapply every 2 hours

Driving in daylight is fine but be sure to have a fresh coat of Porsche-approved "N rated" wax applied. It's made from filtered unicorn semen.

Thx - Bay area Costco selling cases - I've heard a few qts added to engine oil will exhibit greater "pull".

Great tip - I'll have wife apply to tires with mop from passengers seat - Will avoid stopping every 2 hrs.

Just watch out for people wearing garlic and sporting a hammer and wooden stake.

This was solved in the original thread.
Directions - rub SPF 100 liberally on genitals until an overwhelming need to take a nap occurs.
End result: car stays in the garage.
