As for the blue tap or the use of "Track Tape" (the clear stuff)

DO IT!!!!!!!!!! ESPECIALLY IF YOU'RE GOING TO FOLLOW CLOSE!!!!!

Trust me! Rocks are bad up there behind cars with sticky tires.

Our local PCA chapter makes a 3-day trip to the Dragon every October. I've been several times, it's beautifull in the fall !! I recommend staying at the Topoco Lodge,no phones in the lodge (except at the front desk),but they are very accommodating to the Porsche Club !!

Wow. Nice video and I see how crowded it can be. When I did my run (only got to do it once) it had rained most of the day so the road was empty! We actually were planning to run it twice more the next day but it was pouring down rain so we went on to South Carolina.

Yeah, that was on a wknd and everyone in the vid ahead and behind me was part of our "Group" meet for that trip. But yes, there were a ton of people there that wknd.

Week day would be the best I'm sure!

Nice roads.
I have driven the Dragon about 25 times. I drive it early on a week day when it is less crowded.

There are plenty of nice mountain roads near the Dragon that are not as crowded.
