Good news is that Silver Black is the most common color combo for 997's. The C4S is the tougher unicorn (currently 9 for sale nationwide 'C4S-coupe-manual' on Cargurus.

I was looking for a car with the exact same options / specs and it took me a year to find one here in Canada and was almost going to give up until i finally found this one in April and bought it on the spot and have been happy since. Good luck.. stay the course and the right one will come up.

Why just 07 or 08? i recently purchased an 06 C4S and from everything i can tell the only difference between 06 and 07/08 is the lack of TPMS.

Appreciate the thought---> I had Atlas Grey 05 997S and prefer Meteor Grey but Atlas grey is a great color---->Silver my favorite.
I purchased Silver/black 07 997S and awaiting the sale of a very nice 2006 C4S Silver/black owned by well know Porsche Mechanic/Collector Denny Akers here in Seattle
Just waiting for him to order his new 2020 Targa

I like the 991 body style - 2013-2014 my favorite.
Not slamming the 997, great car but a step up to 991 could be nice.

Interesting. I don't mind the 991.1 body style either but I've never heard one running let alone driven one. The common reports on the 997 board are of 991s being too GT-like and non-engaging because of the electric steering. Right now the price gap between 997.2 and 991.1 is pretty narrow so I could see some people opting for the newer cars. "Too GT, too quite" can always be addressed with a good exhaust.

Have my heart set on the 06 C4S owned by Denny Aker ---> Akers has been friend/mechanic for 34 years. Just playing the waiting game.
I like the 2013-2014 991 body style - I've never driven one and never even heard of the electric steering.
There/s a base 2013 991 in the Marketplace right now, 6 speed with 42K miles for $53,900
I have to drive a 991
