Hi All,

Finally got my hands on my dream car, I've been a BMW M guy in the past, but always dreamed of owning this exact car. My Dad had a 1976 911sc when I was a kid which I used drool over and pretend to drive (my feet couldn't reach the pedals ). Took a while to track this one down, see some details/pics below - I look forward to getting stuck in with the forum as my knowledge grows, if anyones is in the Bay Area and fancies a cruise hit me up. Pics taken at Bodega Bay.

2012 997.2 GTS
45k miles
Meteor grey
CPO
Since installed clear side markers, otherwise stock.

Congratulations on a beautiful car! My daughter just moved to SF last month and is firmly planted in the mission district. I've done the drive several times in the past in a 911 but have not done it yet in my TT, but that is coming later this summer. Unlikely we'll cross paths but I always notice other Porsches on the road. Have fun and drive fast

Welcome to the Porsche world.

Alot of us are still BMW guys still.

Progression is evolution.

I think a 997 is a perfect first porsche.

And what better car to get than a GTS.

Congrats. Sweet looking car. I've got a twin (GTS in Meteor Grey) 2.5 years later and I still love every single drive.

Also in the Bay Area. Could we get a GTS cruise set up? Might I suggest you get the sharkwerks exhaust bypass. It makes a huge difference in driving enjoyment.

Is the sound not obnoxious? can you post a sound clip or video clip?

Thanks for the welcome and the comments guys. I'd definitely like to hear the Sharkwerks bypass, in person would be ideal! Also posted build sheet below.
