can you "see" if Gundo hack is done
My car seems louder than other 911's . I also get some nice little crackles and pops on deceleration. I bought my car CPO used in November and there was no mention of exhaust mods. My rep at Bodymotion in Ocean, NJ said the same thing, that it sounded louder. Is it possible to look under the car and see that section of the muffler? How can I tell? Thank you

Your car has PSE (Sport Exhaust), right? Seems to me there's your answer. Below is picture of my Fister mufflers for my '09 C2. The mod (aka Gundo) adds the short connection between the two exhaust pipe sections. As I understand it for S cars, PSE does the same thing but is selectable from a switch on the center console.

OK then. I think by looking under rear of your car you'd be able to see if your side mufflers are modified. Also check to see if there's any change to the stock center muffler.

Center is still there. I was able to see that easily. I have to take my wheels off soon to change them so perhaps then I will be able to see the side mufflers better.

Yes you can see if gundo was done by looking close from the back underside of the car. I did my own gundo but you have to look close to see it

OK, thanks for your responses. I will crawl under and try looking again. I did look before, but felt I couldn't see . I have to change my wheels soon, so maybe jacked up it will be easier. Do stock cars crackle and pop at all on deceleration? Also, does anyone know of a Gundo hack shop in or near Monmouth County NJ?

)Bodymotion can do the Gundo Hack for you. Just ask Ace.
Something seems odd regarding crackling and popping upon deceleration. Gundos and most aftermarket exhausts do not do that (I have Fabspeed and the Maxflos do not crackle or pop). I would make an appointment with Ace and have him check out the car's exhaust.
