Default Part Lookup Help

All - Working on replacing my Alt+Starter cable today and I broke a small connector between what appears to be two small coolant lines. I cant seem to find this part in PET. Any assistance would be appreciated. Its the part circled in red.

Went to the dealer and got a replacement. Part #996-106-226-52

Stupid Cooling Part
Water Hose Connector to AOS

Almost done with the ALT+Starter battery cable on my 06 C2S Tiptronic. Not nearly as easy as a M/T pig but will be done later today.

lol i did the same thing

God damn biodegradable plastic

Pro tip: if the tube does come out of the rubber hose, grab a set of flat pliers and just squish the hose and crack up and break up all the plastic

I also found a metal one, wish i had known about it as an option before I bought that $6 piece of crap plastic

+1 on the metal hose connector -- would be nice if it was there in the first place.
I'll know were to look when I break mine

I wish I had thought of the metal connector instead. I did have to break the old plastic out. It's all done, road tested and put away. Hope there is not a next time but if there is I'm going a metal connector.
