Nice. Very cool to see a 997 that has been being driven! Enjoy!

I second this! Welcome to the forum, and make lots of posts as you work through the car on the various projects. Looks like a beauty, and they are not all that hard to work on. Now, if I can just figure out how to do my AOS without dropping the engine

Thanks again to everyone...I know I'm getting old, it took me about 5 minutes to find my own thread.
Just put new tail lights on (got 'em on the marketplaceI and ran the car over to a retired auto body guy, that still does body/paint work on the side and he's gonna squeeze my car in to fix the damage on the rear bumper at a great price.
I've also been gathering part numbers and prices for the cooling system hoses. For some reason the prices for 300 different hoses seem more reasonably priced than the 5 hoses on my VW.
Ed, When I had the plenums off last week I did look at the AOS, and it looks like it can be done. You might have to move the AC compressor, but I think that would be about it. One (two) thing(s) that came in handy was(were) my roller seat and rolling cart. That motor is at the perfect height to break my back, but the seat allowed me to easily reach back in the engine bay and I could put parts on the cart without having to get up and down too much.
Have a great weekend people,
Right after I bought it...
