I keep thinking that the manual/PDK debate comes down to the way Jim Jefferies talks about guns.

There is one argument and one argument alone for having a manual transmission, and this is the argument… “F**k off. I like manual transmissions.” It’s not the best argument, but it’s all you’ve got. And there’s nothing wrong with it. There’s nothing wrong with saying, “I like something. Don’t take it away from me.”

All my cars are manual including my daily driver. I enjoy the analog experience and don't care how much faster PDK shifts. So up to you on if you truly must have a manual.

After driving a few 997s, some with PDK and most with 6MT, I think I'll enjoy a 6MT more.
