Default 997 Turbo MK1 ticking noise, please help

Hello,

i am from Germany and i´ve found this nice forum over google and youtube. I am the owner of a Porsche 997 Turbo MK1 with 480hp and a mileage of 76.000km with manual transmission.

The car is completely stock, only fitted with an Oehlins road and track suspension.

If the oil is warm, i get some rattling/ ticking noise at idle, if the oil ist cold, the noise doesn´t exist.

The noise exists for 500km now, but haven´t become louder since it came up. If i rev up over idle, i cannot recorgnize the noise, maybe it´s gone or i cannot hear it anymore, because of the engine itselfs gets louder.

Pressing the clutch causes no changes of the noise.

I´ve uploaded a short video on youtube, just click the link below.

Maurice - there is a turbo forum for 997s that might have more people familiar with your vehicle.

Good luck with your fix.
