Default PLEASE HELP ME WITH THIS RATTLE

I recently had my car detailed. On the way home I heard a rattle I had not heard before. It was coming from the rear of the car and sounds like plastic tapping on metal. I asked the guys if anything came loose when they were detailing the engine compartment and rear spoiler. They said no. I looked all around the engine compartment, spoiler, license place, under the car, and I cannot seem to find the source of the rattle. The only thing I find is that the rattle seems to stop when the rear spoiler is out. The only thing I can guess is that those little plastic folds part under the spoiler is rattle against the metal. I am not sure why this would occur for the first time immediately after a detail job. Can someone help me with this? It is driving me absolutely crazy. Thank you.

Just check your exhaust system as 05-08s are notorious for loose metal exhaust brackets that come undone and start rattling. Your the first guy to have found a rattle around the wing area if thats where its at, as its not a common area of complaint..

Dont trust where you hear the sound coming from....because this car is a ventriloquist. Take a friend and have them touch everything until they find the offender.

When I encounter a rattle, I put some money in a bucket. Then I buy a louder exhaust with the money. Problem solved.

When ever I lift up my engine lid, I can hear something rolling around in the engine/spoiler lid. I can't hear it when I'm driving, so far not a big deal. I'm not sure if a small part worked its way loose, or if some debris worked its way into the rear lid? Best of luck hunting the noise down, keep us posted.
