I originally posted this in the 997 deals thread, but thought I'd make an official introduction. I'm a new owner of a 997.2 here in the LA area, but previously was both a lurker and a member of PCA through my 981S. I've been going through a bit of a conundrum these last two years, as I've absolutely had my heart set on a 997.2, but decided to try out other cars in the mean time, which meant I went from owning a GTR and a Lexus RCF in between my Porsche purchases. Looking forward to contributing to Rennlist, making new friends and connections, and hopefully cruising with some of you soon!

Very nice and congratulations. You won't miss the RC and GTR after this car. I'm keeping my Supra only to see what the market does for the upcoming Supra MKV.
Those buckets are amazing! $6k well spent by the original owner.
Glad to see you took it straight to Angeles Forest, I did the same when I got my 997.1 C2S a few years ago. LA has amazing roads and I've started to compile some of them here: thebackrd.com
Come play with PCA Los Angeles this Saturday, May 5th as we celebrate Mexican culture and the rejection of tyranny with a scenic and spirited drive through the Santa Monica Mountains followed by a delicious brunch at El Cholo Santa Monica. We will start from our frequent meet-up location of Gelson's in Calabasas.

Sweet car. Love that interior. Now level with us, did you leave all those tire marks in the pictures?
Enjoy your ride, it's a beaut.

Great car, great build. But then I'm a bit biased BTW, you will love those bucket seats. Any other Porsche seating does not offer the stability of the LWBS.
Thanks everyone for the responses! Loving the community so far. Definitely planning to meet up with a few of the local members for drives!
