Thanks, everyone, for the welcome and kind comments!

Interior shots requested are attached. Very very clean inside, even the soft touch paint on the console is holding up well.

This one totally appeared under my nose. We dropped by for my wife to test drive a Cayenne one day and I am proud/embarrassed to say that I know the inventory at this dealer well enough that as we pulled in I went "oh hey, that's new!" Turns out it was not even for sale yet - it was the PO shopping for his next ride. We circled it, talked briefly with the PO, and then my wife gave me the Green Light™ of "damn, this is a STUNNING car" Before we left, we asked Adolf (sales manager) to flag us if it came in... he first dangled the hook over 2 years ago by letting me test drive a Cayman, and has been patiently waiting for the hook to be fully set since

I have watched the "new porsche owner" video here and laughed... have read threads about people researching, trying to find THE ONE, and even a lot of buyer's remorse threads... and can't wait to do the first oil change with my 10 year old daughter's help.

Gotta say, zero regrets. None... the exact right car.

Always good to keep the wife happy when you buy a car she likes and can drive.

Default Targa 4

Love my Guards Red Targa 4. Found it in an independent car dealer's showroom. Drove it. Bought it. Haven't looked back. You'll love the open air, but safe feeling. Incredibly easy to tinker with if you're so inclined. Enjoy!

Congrats on the new ride!
Late to the party but I just got my first 911 last summer and couldn't be happier with it. 2009 GT Silver Targa 4S, 6MT, black full leather, etc. I live in Nor Cal and it's a second car so pretty much whenever I drive it the top is down. I love having that option...especially at speed. One option my car did not have was PSE. I just installed Fister Sport Exhaust (side mufflers + Sharkwerks center bypass) and that added a whole other dimension to the car. Recently took it in the local canyons and with targa top and windows down it's hard to keep from smiling :-).
