I have the Gold package which is a lifetime guarantee and I think they applied 5 coats. I'm in DC for reference and my detailer comes to my house and charged me $1200 for each car including paint correction (except my Macan which was new) and spent about 6 hours on each vehicle.

Three Wheelin'
I just did my wife’s new Macan S (Mahongony Metallic).....paint correction (yes, factory paint is not without flaws), GTechnique Serum (9 year warranty) and Suntek complete front end, rocker panels, mirrors, tailgate. $2600. The gloss is amazing and the water just runs off.

I did Suntek PPF and Gyeon Mohs cermaic coating to my brand new 991.2 GT3. coating was applied on top of the PPF, the whole car, wheels...etc
Paint was corrected before application of PPF and coating.
The thing about ceramic coating, it's like a much longer lasting wax, so whatever "Defect" on the paint will be sealed under the coating for a long time. so at least get the paint polished before applying coating.
washing it is super easy, just spray the heck out of it, most water will run off, just use a leaf blower to blow off the remaining. takes about 10 minutes for me.
This is how it looked when all done - PPF everything EXCEPT the doors and upper rear quarter panel. you can't tell there's a difference in shine until you get really close.
and btw, my car is for sale
