Default Door woofers not working after radio swap

Details - 997.1 gt3 non bose stock stereo cdr24
the woofers in the doors were blown so i disconnected them until replacement
figured i’d change the head unit as well
so for head unit i got a sony apple car play double din
ebay bezel kit
ebay wiring harness adapter
focal iss-200 speaker system
i installed the head unit and all went smooth. Used the wiring harness and all seemed to be well. The harness has receiver for the power wires and speaker wires. But there is one other plug that was plugged into the original head unit that was not plugged into anything with the new head unit. It has a few thin gauge wires into it.
Today i installed the focal 8” door speakers and i get absolutely no sound from them. All the other speakers work just fine. But those two woofers aren’t doing anything at all. Could that third harness plug have something to do with it? All other wires were connected as they should be.
Any help is appreciated

did you wire the amp remote? there's a wire left on the oem harness that looks lost. mine was the red/black

wire this to the antenna output or the dedicated amp on. usually a blue wire on the head unit.

2008 997.1 NON-BOSE IN CAR OEM HARNESS

(I think the plug with the thin wires is for the PCM telemetry and/or steering wheel controls. not needed for aftermarket setup)

If the amp only powers the 8” speakers in the doors then that makes total sense. I’ll look at it when i get to the shop later today.
All the other speakers are working as they should.
