2010 Carrera S
My engine light came on this morning. With the engine on, I pulled the following codes:
New one:
0421:
Throttle Valve Adjusting Unit - emergency air pos
Upper limit exceeded
Old ones:
0431:
Catalytic converter, bank 2 inadequate effect
Upper limit valve exceeded
1559:
Power supply without engine operation
Implausible signal
Are these related? Any idea what to adjust or replace? Plugs? O2 sensors?
THANKS!!!
Edit just to update anyone who finds this via search later:
The O2's were fine. I should have checked them individually with the Durametric, but now I know.
Took it to Porsche who said I needed to replace both Catalytic Converters ($6000)
I declined and had them replace the plugs ($500)
Problem seems to be solved, if it changes, I will update
Also, upon reflection, I got gas from a station in BFE (Willlacoochee GA to be precise) and I remember thinking, "I wonder when the last person bought premium gas at this station?" The error started within 10 miles of that fill up. Could be the crappy gas was just too much for my weak plugs.

0421 isn't throttle valve, bro, it is a catalyst warm up code too.
You can:
Trust the O2's and replace the cats. Probably not a good idea.
Not trust the O2's and replace the O2's and/or wiring to them.
1559 is wacky. I'd clear it and watch for it to come back...and definitely check your wiring around the engine and O2 sensors.

Stock intake and airbox? Stock exhaust?
