19" rims widest tires?

Why? The wider the tire, the less the cornering grip.

Width of the rim? My rears are 12" wide and 325 was a great fit. Looked a bit bulky though so stepped down to 305's which works too. My fronts are 9" wide and both 235 and 245 work.

I had a try with 325 on my 11" and a narrow body, that was not good! Touched a bit into the inner part of the fender. (And yes the tires was for free just as a trackday test). I have 305 now, and also 295, both are good.

you need to say what the width is. 19x 10, 19x12, 19x15, all would be different tire size. You dont just go by what you can squeeze on the wheel, you go by the width.
11 would be 295 or 305 unless you have some clearance issues
