What kind of costs associated with removing a turbo tail and changing to a standard 911 tail?

That’s not a turbo tail. It’s an Aerokit tail.

Remove four screws and disconnect the wiring harness and you’re done.

You MAY need a new wiring harness for the new tail but not likely. If so. Around $130 give or take.

New standard mechanic spoiler and decklid are a bundle. Couple grand plus paint.

eBay decklids in any color are plentiful and between $300 and $700 last time I checked.

Coding for the mech wing yourself is free. By a dealer is another hundo.

OP, reco you keep it and store it if you do this. Porsche doesn’t make them anymore.

Thanks for the responses. Not my car, but I am looking to buy and this one came up locally. Sounds like it would not be a problem to sell the tail separately!

Aerokit cars fetch a premium which you’d lose if you ever sold the car and not likely cover what you’ll get for the wing.
