Default 997 GTS cab buying advice

hi guys, looking to purchase my first 911 and found this deal:

2011 911 GTS Cab 50k miles

t comes with a brand new engine along with a CPO warranty so i think it's a fairly reasonable deal @ $65K USD.
it does have a couple non-collision insurance claims...im looking to see if it'll be able to hold its re-sale value...what do you guys think?

thx!

That looks pretty ok, rather high mileage. The CPO is a wonderful thing though.

if interested, I’m looking to sell my 2011 997.2 GTS cab (PDK) with 15K miles and CPO (that is transferable) until Nov 2019.

At 50k miles, the engine is barely broken in.

If has a new engine, don't need to worry about what they did to it when it was a press car.

$81k is ridiculous if it has 50k miles.

I wouldn't worry about it if CPO and looks good. Drive the wheels off it for two years so any problems surface. Might could use press car and new engine as bargaining power to negotiate a lower price.

Why by a car with a story when you can buy one without?

CPO for $72k with 33k miles.

CPO for $78k with 21k miles.

To me, this is the best one because no alcantara and no center locks. CPO for $77k with only 7k miles.

I'd be wary of the state of that PDK if it was a press car. A new engine is great, but the PDK is also expensive, and likely has been abused.

That said, I've bought 2 cars from EPC. They've been pretty good to deal with.

A friend of mine has a 2012 gts that had to have a new engine too. He had 22km on the motor. Just still within Warranty. Lucky man indeed

If you want a manual, there is a great 2010 C4S cab with 16k miles in Meteor Grey over in the PCA classified. Low mileage, asking $66k, manual, full leather, PSE, sport seats. It looks like a superb build. If it were a coupe, you can bet it would already be sold.
