Howdy, I picked up a new set of PCM ***** with my recent order of refinished A/C toggles. The old ***** have a larger "shaft" receiver, if you will, than the new. It's not obvious if the new ***** would spread enough on the existing shaft without splitting, per se. Maybe these are 997.2 *****? Mine's a 2007.

the correct numbers for the 997.1 PCM ***** are:
997-642-201-00-A05
997-642-202-00-A05

Thank you. The ones I received are qty 2 of #99764220200A05...so seems to be correct? Just not sure how they can fit. There's a circular spring around the plastic petals. Perhaps it stretches somehow to retain things...but in an effort to get them started on the shaft, they don't seem to go without fear of my breaking things. Just don't want to destroy $25 of ***** by exerting too much force...particularly if they're somehow the wrong size.

LOL.... well I just found out that the volume and tuning ***** are indeed different diameter shafts. I was sent qty 2 of the tuning **** (smaller diameter shaft). I'll return the other and hopefully get the correct volume **** part soon. At that point my center stack will be totally refreshed and non-gummy
