Default Instrument gauges

Has anyone changed out their gauges to a different color by them selves? I wish USMC_DS1 had a DIY on it that I could look at. I completely understand that it needs to be sent off to do however I am just courious. Palo Alto has been recommended for me to send it off to when I do it. Does anyone have another company that they recommend?

Thanks,
b

I used North Hollywood Speedometer. They were very fair when it became clear that their shipping/receiving guy had thrown out the new FVD gauge faces I sent to them with my instrument cluster. They paid for a new set. It’s probably DIY-able, and I’ve done so on other cars, but didn’t want to muck around. I think it cost me about US$250 for the service, plus shipping of course.

Hi BaileyII - I could swear I read a DIY on Rennlist on changing the gauge faces but I can't locate...I did find this though:

This is for a 987 but may help you decide if this is something you would like to tackle versus send off to be done
