Spark Plug Help
I live in the sticks in Texas and must order all parts through the mail as the dealer is 2 hours away. I have searched and these two plug numbers keep coming up. Are these two spark plug numbers the same part? If not which one is preferred?
Bosch FGR5NQE04
and
Bosch 999 170 151 90
I have a 2009 base Carrera.

Both are identical parts. One is the Porsche part number which will cost you 3.5x the price of just getting the Manufacturer part. They are identical though so just get the Bosch FGR-5-NQE-04. You can get a set of 6 for about 40 bucks shipped.

I did three changes myself (40,80,120K....)... I use the Bosch plugs and not the Porsche labeled... they are the exact same plug...... I confirmed using the tiny numbers imprinted on the plug metal from my original, factory set....

Reconfirm for your base... this was for my S.
$7 vs $20..... for the same plug.... your choice. Oh, and my car has not blown up (yet).
Peace
