Default 2011 Porsche 911 Speedster Sold For RM Soethby's

Sold at $285,500K including fees. I believe this is the same car that went to several auctions, and Seller decided to roll the dice with No Reserve this time:

1994? Is 200k a lot for that car or not enough. I dont follow the speedster market.

Seems like recent asks for these cars has been much higher than $200k so I would say he was disappointed.

Me:
Coupe
Cab
Targa
Speedster
In that order, except for the 991 targa, it gets a bump over the cab.

The 964 Speedster was beautiful - the 997 one out of proportion and ugly. As said before, that's not the 993 version from 1994.

The best looking Speedsters are the 993 based ones that Porsche never built, like this one:

Looks like someone put a fiberglass camper top on the back.

"curve lover" the owner of the 993 Speedster I posted photos of actually did some research on this Sotheby's sale, and it wasn't a sale of the white 997 Speedster in the initial photo, but rather a Speed Yellow 964 version - here's the link https://www.rmsothebys.com/en/auctio...eedster/604790

Pretty, but I still like the lines of the 993 based cars, like "Speedy" better.

Oops fixed title sorry! The 1994 was meant for the 91 forum:
