Default Sharkwerks / Gundo = YES !!

I have had my 2012 997.2 C4S for a couple months now. After all the great info on this site i decided to order the Sharkwerks Xpipe. Alex was absolutely awesome to deal with. I wanted to order the Fister Mufflers but with Shipping And our Canadian dollar the cost just was to high for me. There is a local retired exhaust guy who comes highly recommended and close to me. After waiting for him to fit me in, i went and picked up my car last night. WOW WOW WOW My car sounds amazing! throttle response it very noticeable, car pulls harder and the sound is amazing. BTW, I don't have the Sports exhaust on my car so this was the route i decided to go.I will post some picture later of the work this guy did. The welds are something to be admired. Sorry long post ... Just super excited.

Cheers
D

I have the same and its perfect. Not too loud, not too quiet, and no drone. Best bang for your buck. Purrs like a ***** below 2000 rpm and roars like a lion above 2500 rpm

It's certainly your best-bang-for-buck option, but left me wanting, tbh. I tried adding race headers to the mix, but that was WAY too loud. I'll look for sports cats or end up swapping out the Fister's for something throatier at some point.

Same combo for me as well. Love it. Improved the driving experience of that otherwise quiet DFI engine

On cold start up its a little loud, But that loud sounds awesome. Its actually quiet below 2000 like Docdrs, after that its just wicked... I watched as many sounds clips on youtube as i could find. I was worried about it being obnoxiously loud. But it sounds perfect to me.

I used a 2" pipe. I think Fister uses a 1.75" but i can't confirm that. I didn't want the car to be loud or obnoxious. The result i achieved with this conbo is perfect.

Either way you go you will be happy with it ,,,,,,,,you tend to blip the throttle a lot on down shifts just to hear it and drive it harder ,,,,,very intoxicating and makes the factory muffler sound really bad in comparison ..
