not a fan of the bumpers after the removal of the bump outs, looks rather shapeless and flat. Lower black part seems fussy, and that painted lip seems like it will get chewed up.
Looks like they are using the same "black horizontal stripe" design on the front bumper:
Why do people say this literally every time a new 911 comes out??? You know when the 997 came out there were people who crapped on that too?
People crapped on the 964, 996 big time, 997, 991 and 991.2. Not going to change with 992 and it is usually those that don't want to step up and pay $$$ for the newer design. I absolutely love the 991.2 GT3, Turbo and Targa GTS look. Let's wait and see final product from normal angles. The car will likely be a beast to drive.

People crapped on the 997 after years of 996 and Boxster? LOL
Actually I purposely read thru some "historic" threads on here and people were commenting on how uninspiring and dull of a refresh the 997 was. Believe it or not... lol
I always like to see the final product in real life...however the pictures on this link seem to have several different looks. In some it seems to be a mix between a Nissan and Mustang! Look forward to my Dealership gathering with goodies when it comes in. I'm sure I'll get to drive it.
Do not like. I think the 997 was the pinnacle of the 911 shape, followed closely by the 993, then everything else drops off rather quickly. All subjective however, and of course, this coming from a guy who thinks the 928 is one of the most beautiful cars ever made, including in the Porsche line up. I put the 997 just a hair below that.
