997.2 C4S New water pump or water pump to thermostat hose?

Same 997.2 hose issue
Happy to find this information posted as I have the same issue. Took the car out after the winter storage and found coolant the next day. My question is do I need to trailer it or can I top off the coolant and drive it. Thanks

Take a look at those bolts to ensure they are actually torqued down correctly. If you zoom into your image it looks like you can see a gap between the head of the bolt and the hose mounting flange.

@waldo34 It could be an optical illusion, but just to be safe...

Apparently the pipe is a perishable part (like all rubber / plastic) . My car had been parked up for 3 months over winter (in garage),
the leak started on first drive back on the road, and I was told when parked for a longer period they can crack/breakdown faster and then leak when back on the road.
Sorry I have no clue RE a manual or guide to repair... But a lot of 'stuff' had to come off!
Good luck!

I’m sorry that you encountered this problem on your new 997. Mike
