Default 997.2 C4 GTS HRE R101 Wheels Mounted

Hi everyone! I finally had a chance to get my HRE wheels mounted up. They are HRE R101 sizes 19x9 front et 52 and 19x12 rear et 47. I'm running Michelin PS4 245/35 fronts and 325/30 rears.

My God that’s a beautiful wheel. Suits the car real nice. I’m guessing these are the forged ones that cost a kidney?

would like some feedback on the 245 tires upfront. I always thought the oem 235 was a bit narrow from a handling perspective.

Very sharp. Almost identical offsets to my Forgelines which were custom ordered. Just curious.....does HRE sell those wheels with those offsets or did you have them built to your specs?

Thanks man! I went with 245 and 325 to keep the rolling diameter very close to stock to not upset the transfer differential. The 245's fit great up front. Not a huge noticeable difference in look but they grip and provide very well. This could also be a factor in tire selection going from a Continental Extreme Contact to Michelin PS4. The Michelin is extremely quiet and seems to tramline less than the Continental even though its wider. The wheels are forged and HRE isn't exactly giving these wheels away

When I contacted HRE about fitments they had a lot of options based on factory ride height vs lowered and how low, negative camber, wider tires vs stock sizes..etc.

For sure but the only one I could find say "RS" on them. Perhaps you have a link to a Porsche Crest version of the black caps?

From what I've read you can use 991 center caps on 997 CL nuts if you trim the anti-rotation tab - I'm hoping so because I have a new set of black 997 CL nuts and a set of 991 - 911R (black/silver) caps for my GM 130Rs.

The car looks wicked BTW.

Absolutely superb choice. This photo above is my favorite of them all.
