Default What was suppose to be here

just checking things out one day after i had a little time to spend with my 997 i opened the frunk and lifted the carpet and found this empty space any idea what goes there

That’s the IMS access panel in the .1 or the access port for the valve decarbonizing spraying the .2.

JK....I’ll have to see what’s there in mine to get a hint.

Check your owner's manual - it will tell you -, maybe even with a picture. Somewhere around page 151.

your right on page 93 i looked thru this manual a dozen times never caught my eye and the space for tire sealant is empty too uuhhmmm need to see if i can purchase on eBay but most likely will call Triple A.

Read the thread very interesting would like to buy the Porsche air pump but on fleabay they all seem to be square and i need the triangle one, saw the one for dynaplug. it is so much easier to just call triple A would a salvage yard maybe the place to buy one seem like it would survive most crashes.

I am the type of guy that always finds ways to remove or eliminate any unneeded items and apparently sell the cars with those items removed as I have a closet full of pumps, tool kits, spare tires, jacks, covers and etc. Also ditch locking lugs so no need for that tool either . . .

Dont get me started on car covers.....I have more than cars. In fact I gave away a Porsche silver one to a new member a while ago.

If you pay shipping I will just send you the sealant I have from the GT3 I parted out. No cost otherwise since its probably aged but at lease you will have it filling space. :-)
